How do I use my own graphics for postcards?
Intuvo utilizes variable data printing in all marketing collateral. This highly flexible architecture allows you to create messaging that is unique to your organization. The layout utilizes fifteen different text areas which can be used in a variety of ways to create a highly personalized message.
The text must be in Minion font as annotated in each of the text areas within the template. You will also notice that the dimensions are also given in the corresponding text area. Intuvo will provide both Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator templates to assist you in creating the final .psd file which Intuvo will use for fulfillment. Below is the graphical outline of how Intuvo’s Post Card template is laid out with.
Front side of Post Card
The following will be an area by area description of the use and propose with special notes as to warnings. Available in appendix A is a list of merge fields that will enable you to personalize your marketing. Please note that when using the merge fields that you include the entire label i.e. “^^^contacts.fName^^” These fields are case sensitive.
1. Image1 – this image covers the entire front surface of the postcard. If one looks at the placement of the text areas (which are not customizable), the background image can take into account for open areas to allow the text to be readable. Alternatively, you can use an image with the text as part of the image. This enables unlimited creativity put will potentially limit the use of the text fields for merged data See Appendix B for different implementations of background images and text fields.

4. text 3 – the area is generally used for a free for the block of text i.e. schedule of events
5. text4 – text14 are text fields at 20pt that is centered for each line.
6. text15 – area at 32pt is used for a tag line, greeting, something that will draw the recipient to read your message, generally if used at the top the bottom is left blank.
Back side of the Post Card:
The back of the card is highly customizable. There are a number of areas that one has to be very careful. The following will be an area by area description of the use and propose with special notes as to warnings.
1. backText1 – the area is used for a tag line, greeting, something that will be drawn the recipient to read your message.
2. backText2 – area is used for the message to be conveyed to the target audience. This area can also use leverage the use of merge fields to further personalize your message. Some examples would be to embed the client’s first name, name of your company or loan representative’s name. ** Do not forget to put a call to action statement
3. backimage1 – This is normally where the {your company} logo is placed. This area is also where a co-market logo which typically involves a co-market image and {your company logo}. This is a personal preference and may be designed to fit you and your co-market needs.
4. backImage2 – the area is for the used for Loan officers headshot. I rare cases where a company wants to send out generic marketing the company logo may be placed in this area with the backImage1 is left blank.
5. backText3 – backText10 are for contact information: name, title, lic.#, tel., cell, fax, email, website, etc. These can only be derived from merge fields available in the Intuvo Homebase.
6. backText11 – the area is used for disclaimers.
7. GREY AREA – DO NOT Place anything in this area.
** The font style and size are not adjustable. To create custom text, please consult your Intuvo representative.
